These reflections were originally shared with our wellness community in early December…
As 2025 closes, the Noble Team pauses— certainly not from a lack of effort, but drawing from an invitation, even if forced, to trust implicitly.
In the month of December, Noble reflects on Isvara Pranidhana, the Niyama that reminds us to surrender to something greater. Releasing attachment, offering our best efforts, and then trusting that God, the universe, the ultimate wisdom will carry the rest.
For 18 months, creating Noble Hot Yoga & Wellness required equal parts action and surrender. We planned and dreamed, invested then pivoted, and we daily practiced patience. Construction unfolds on its timeline, the vision we hold remains sharply in focus. The space is becoming what it was meant to be.
Isvara Pranidhana reminds us that plans do not unfold on our planned timeline (nor in the form we often anticipate)—but our calling is to carry on in kindness doing our unique good works.
Update on Our Opening
In the spirit of surrender and trust, we share our delayed opening news. We intended to open January 1st 2026, to honor my late step father, Mike Richardson on what would have been his 80th birthday.
Yet, construction still progresses. We are practicing patience and trust.
Because of this delay, membership billing begins February 1st (rather than January 1st). We will always be treating you right.

Philosophy in Practice
At Noble, yoga is both a practice and a way of life. Guided by the Eight Limbs of Yoga, we seek balance of body, mind, and spirit—on and off the mat.
While January will be devoted to Ahimsa (non-harming) as our foundational theme, December invites us inward—to soften our grip, release urgency, and trust the unfolding.
Isvara Pranidhana teaches us that surrender is not giving up—it is giving over. It is showing up sincerely and allowing life to meet us where we are and to carry us where we belong.
During these past 18 months there have been so many moments of upheaval and uncertainty, this internal practice of patient trust has grounded us deeply. It has reminded us that when effort is paired with faith, peace becomes possible—even in the waiting..the hardest part.

Volunteer Staff Spotlight: Jamie Haire
Jamie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, is a compassionate advocate to help each person feel loved, seen, and respected. Beginning life extremely shy and quiet, she always sensed that service to others was her purpose. Her deep appreciation for human connection helped her step into confidence—and ultimately into a career centered on uplifting individuals and families. Today, Jamie works with people who have intellectual and physical disabilities; Jamie finds profound joy in championing inclusion and helping her clients experience their fullest quality of life.
Jamie discovered yoga in her early twenties. Yoga changed her life by opening awareness to the deep connection between mind, body, and wellness. Jamie has struggled with anxiety, self worth, and the fear of not being enough. Yoga taught her the power of slowing down, caring for and loving herself, and being fully present—practices that continue to strengthen her personal wellness. Her yoga journey has not been linear but has been a steady guide, offering clarity and grounding through every life chapter. Yoga teaches Jamie that no matter her mood – she can get on her mat and feel better.
Jamie and Krista have known each other for years as neighbors; Jamie witnessed firsthand the resilience, courage, and heart that brought Noble Hot Yoga and Wellness to life. Jamie recognized how Krista’s vision aligns with social work’s core values: service, social justice, dignity and worth of every person, the importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence. Jamie is passionate about helping others connect with their inner knowing to follow the path to become their truest, most beautiful selves. Jamie is committed to helping foster a space at Noble that is truly welcoming for everybody and every body.
Community Roots: Growing Food, Not Lawns
Service beyond our walls is central to who we are.
We are excited to grow our partnership with Suzanna Hobson, Director of the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank, to offer onsite yoga for volunteers and cultivate gardens at Noble to provide fresh produce for local food banks and for our wider community. Noble will regularly be supporting The Longer Table (in west Carmel) working the large gardens there and supporting their mission to lessen local hunger.
Our vision is simple and powerful: grow food, not lawns, and share.
In the seasons ahead, Noble will support and encourage community participation—planting, harvesting, and reconnecting with our land as a form of meditation, stewardship, self reliance, thanksgiving, and nourishment.

Tip of the Month: Trust the Unfolding
Yoga invites us to begin just exactly where we are—even when the path feels unclear.
As we move through this dark winter season filled with so much energy and time demands, consider:
- Where am I being asked to surrender (the illusion of) control?
• What might open if I trust this pause?
• How can faith soften my effort?
Every breath is an offering. Every pause holds wisdom.
This reflection is part of the ongoing journal of Noble Hot Yoga and Wellness—where movement, breath, and mindful living come together.
Breathe. Believe. Achieve.
